Fairytale Gone Bad...

I finally managed to turn in the last paper, last night @ about 2 a.m. And before going to bed, I stumbled upon Sunrise Avenue's song "Fairytale Gone Bad"...and it's not bad actually...if I think about it, it's really good in fact.
There is nothing wrong with admitting to yourself and the world that something ended, there's nothing to be ashamed of admitting a relationship you were in - be it friendship, marriage, romantic relationship - ended. People change, circumstances alter, characters don't stay the same and people continue to be stubborn and stay in a relationship, just because they are afraid or ashamed of letting the world know...yes, some could see it as a failure, but what are we, if not the result of our successes and failures? What would we be without our mistakes? It's the failures and the mistakes we make that help us grow and make better choices next time.
So for all of you out there, afraid of giving up: wake up, cry if you have to, but MOVE ON. Like a dear friend of mine once said: You know it was good, if you are sad when it's over. Start over, but don't forget; move on, but remember why you did it.

yes...i agree...the most important thing is that you are honest to yourself, it doesn't matter what the world is saying...the world is always saying something...
