It doesn't happen every day

Head of the U.N. for 10 years

You all probably know all about it already, but it was today that I got to thinking about the fact that Kofi Annan, who has been the secretary-general of the U.N. for the past decade, is retiring. After his farewell speech in Missouri last week the spirits were highly devided: some say thaat it's a shame such a man is leaving, some are happy to see him gone, considering that he used his last speech to speak his mind, once more, about how wrong the taken approach on the Iraq war was.
I don't know what you think about this, but in my opinion, a man who has done so much for the past 10 years of his life, does not deserve to be mocked and ridiculed as several newspapers/journalists did in the past week. And despite what some say, Kofi Annan WILL be missed @ the U.N.
